Bekario

It is a prostrate much branched grey pubescent annual herb in dry and barren habitats with a woody root stock. Leaves are 7-9 foliolate and densely covered with white hairs. Flower pinkish red, small, ] 0-20 in axillary racemes. Fruit is a cylindrical pod and consist of 2 ovoid, globose seeds. Flowering and fruiting in September to December.

Usage: The decoction of whole plant is used in epilepsy. The juice of plant is diuretic, alternative and is also used to treat chronic venereal diseases. The leaf juice is used as an eye drop to cure migraine. Seed powder with milk is taken as a tonic for general health.
